Just a heads up to be wary of the seller in Japan on eBay called Akashic-camera.
I have just had a very bitter experience with this seller this morning.
I won an auction of theirs for a Nikon Z 800 5.6 VR PF. I was over the moon when the page said I had won the auction.
After a moment of rejoice with my mate who had just arrived for our weekly push bike ride I clicked on the pay now link.
Instead of checkout I got a page load of similar items and I immediately became suspicious. I quickly went back to my eBay page and refreshed it to find no notification to pay now and no listing under my purchased items.
I then received a message from the seller Akashic-camera who sincerely apologized but the item had been sold and the listing should not of been running. Funny he was aware enough of the auction to cancel immediately he saw he did not get a price he liked and fast enough to beat me to checkout.
Very nasty experience and I'm sure I would not be the first for this to happen to. I'm afraid the not so nice experiences on eBay are starting to get to breaking point for me.
Just thought people should know plus I at least feel like I have done something because there's nothing else can be done.
