I know ime daft but still following the Tamron 150-600,while looking through flickr i found this from a D750 @ ISO 9000,dont think ime ready to go that high for birds but you never know.

First thing I did when I got the D750, is to set it to ISO 12,800 and start firing away in a dark room. I am still really amazed sometimes when I import a shot into LR that's 3200, 6400 ISO and it is pretty darn clean. Even at 12,800 it cleans up real well without much detail loss.

Grooved Billed Ani from deep south Texas. The ability to use the higher ISO effectively works so well when I am photographing birds within shaded trees. I can still use high shutter speeds and now I don't have to carry my tripod with me in the field. Love the D750!

Spent Labor Day weekend in Joshua Tree National Park and did some night photography again for the first time in way too long...
