Nice. Very nice!. I see that you are backing off the exposure 1/3rd stop as well. Mine shoots a little on the bright side as well.

Dont know if its a trend with the 750 but i found i needed it with auto ISO on the 7100,a few test shots looked like i may need it so just thought i would try it.

I have a Nikkor 20mm F2.8D and a 35mm F/2 coming and on the way here. In the meantime, I put on my 18-140mm and tried DX mode on Dolly.

I will at some point need to talk to you about how you get the great skys,i have never done much landscape so when i get my wide zoom i will contact you.

Any time Mike, I'll be glad to help. There is not much too it really. The main thing is try not to over do it. Too much clarity and over saturation will kill an otherwise beautiful sky.

i will contact you

Have your people call my people. We'll set up a meeting over tea and crumpets.:very_drunk:

so many of these shots are beautiful. I wonder sometimes if i should upgrade from my 610 to a 750 and if that would make
any difference. The 610's autofocus is limiting. thanks for sharing your shots. So many are examples of talent and skill
meeting a great camera and lens!

Honestly, I haven't been too impressed at the improvement of AF ability from the D600 to the D750. I used the D600 for two years with no problems even at weddings, where continuous AF in lower light is so important. The D600 was an amazing camera.

FWIW, I used center focus point with D600 and now I use mainly group focus points on continuous now for most things, and maybe get 15-20% more keepers if that. If I were you, I'd wait for the next big thing or at least for D750 to drop even more in price than it has. The biggest improvement on the D750 for me is the larger grip which lets me shoot for longer periods of time without getting hand cramps. The dynamic range / ISO performance improvement is negligible.
