Hello,
I have just joined the forum today and would like to say a quick hello.

Thought I should share a photo taken this afternoon. It was taken at the local farm in my village.
Details: D7100, 18-55mm GII @ 52mm
100 ISO, 1/100th @ F8

Here's a photo of the village church taken last week. The weather here (England) has been quite changeable to say the least and I nipped out after dinner to catch the dark brooding cloud behind the church.

Just to clarify, I took this photo with the 18-55mm G II lens and am absolutely amazed at how good it is both optically and value for money.
I printed it to A2 size yesterday and the detail at ISO 100 is so good that it's hard to tell it was not taken on full-frame!
It just shows how good the D7100 is.
Cheers,
Paul

You would have plenty of those animals in the above post around your parts, wouldn't you Phil ? minus the blue paint I guess ;) .
Yes we do but they are not wild. Not sure how that blue would have got there, farmers do tie colour blocks onto the ram,s so they can tell which sheep have been serviced, and by which ram.

Here's a photo I took last night. Just outside my village there is a steep hill leading down to the River Glen. On the other side of the river the ground rises sharply and the farmer has sown wheat up the hillside.
I love the patterns in the crops so took the photo, handheld, just before dusk.
