Interesting link the rental package for wedding photographers made me laugh ....4 lenses to cover the range 16-200mm ..add a big bag ..a broken back .. oh what fun ..

If you don't mind manual focus, and only aperture priority and manual operation then AI and AIS Nikkors are still certainly some of your best Nikkor lens bargains.

Well STM went a bit mad and bought an old D80 just for those ebay shots and photos of the neigbours over the road who have a lot of police visits ..you know rubber glove searches ... big in house breaking I am told .... ..wanted something just to save opening the safe when it kicks off .....Bought a cheap $100 24-120 AF D lens to go on it and maybe for a FX ....we will see if its any good when it arrives ( if not it goes back ) !!
