You will NOT get the same effect in digital from using a 25A, K2, G0, etc., filter (if you are shooting in grayscale) that you will if you were using one with black and white film.

I'm talking the menu-driven, in-camera color "filters" available within the Monochrome camera profile.

Doesn't matter what converts in-camera with digital. You can produce a digital negative and replicate any type of film in post. That's like arguing which is better: ABC or 123. The final image is all that matters.
