B&H Shipping Delay on the D500?

Bergen County still has them - they renewed it last year.

I've had mine pre-ordered for a long time - I was going to cancel it then decided not to. Mine still shows arriving tomorrow - but no tracking info, no update that its shipped - so I'm not holding out hope.

Ironically, the Sigma 50-100 F1.8 Art lens that Sigma announced at the same time, was released today, and shipped today, and I will get THAT before I get the D500 unless Amazon glitched and I'll still see the camera tomorrow (doubtful). So I'm taking my D7100 into work tomorrow just so I have something to play with the lens with....

First email I got yesterday told me the shipping date had been pushed back indefinitely. They listed May 21st as a place holder where they would email me again to make sure i still want the camera.

11pm last night they send me another email, estimated delivery date 4/27. Soooooo... i dunno. We'll see what happens.

Well they charged my card late last night and now it says preparing to ship - so maybe I'll see it Monday....

I was a little late on preorders so went with Crutchfield thinking a lot of d500 early preorders went to the big stores. They said they would send an email too but I've got a fedex notification a package is coming tomorrow. I've got a lens coming from ebay but maybe it is the camera.

So according to Nikon Rumors, "B&H just sent shipping notifications to existing Nikon D500 pre-orders". I didn't get one, though my order is in the B&H system, which means I either didn't make their first cut or that they didn't send them to everyone. Order status says, "On Order", and shipping is, "Pending", and I don't remember what they were before it was released. Need to do some digging to see what this means but I guess it could be a while before I see mine. :(

Just scrolled to the bottom of the thread linked at the top of this one. I seem to have missed the cut with my March order date. Oh well. At least B&H managed to get the ones they did get out to the folks who ordered them - good for B&H.

Interesting inclusion in a post by a supervisor from Adorama, "Correction...All NPS back orders are being shipped today." The rumor was that priority would be given to all Nikon Professional Services (NPS) orders, and apparently that's the case. Probably as it should be.

How would Adorama know who is an NPS member? Just curious.
