Well, i suppose if you compile a bunch of scary pictures of any place, some people may think twice about going. Certainly couldn't have been much to report on at that moment in time if they published that...

Looks like just another day in Florida to me! :D

We have it all; venomous snakes (the biggest eastern diamondbacks are found in FL) and other reptiles, constrictor snakes, inclusing boas and pythons some to 20+ feet, gators and crocks to 20+ feet, spiders of all descriptions including brown, red and black widows and brown recluses, hurricanes that have reached as high as Category 5 (Andrew) and routinely are Category 3's, we lead the nation in the actual NUMBER of tornadoes each year, mostly because the hurricanes themselves can spit out hundreds of them at a pop. We lead the nation in the number of lightning strikes as well.

Yeah, I had a case of the AT's (Aussie Terrors) once and let me tell ya, it was horrible.

Stomach cramps, diarrhea, confusion, stiff joints, sore throat, athletes foot, goiter, hair loss, blurred vision, heart palpitations, sweating, delusions of grandeur, hives, itchy palms, bloating, ringing in my ears, chapped lips *and* an erection that lasted more than four hours. That's the last time I drink the water in Sydney, let me tell ya...
