Just wanted to give anyone with an Instagram account a heads up that MeFoto has been giving away free stuff every Friday for anyone tagging them in their photos. The current giveaway is for their Sidekick, a tripod attachment to hold a Smartphone. Not sure how often I'll use it, but mine arrived today. I'd canned Instagram when they changed their policy regarding sharing photos after the Facebook buyout, but when my nephew asked me to reactivate to help share photos of his wedding I couldn't say no. So, I took the opportunity to post some of my recent photos and inserted the #SideKick360 hashtag, and wouldn't you know, within 5 days of reactivating I'd won one. I sort of wish I'd done it a month or two prior when they were giving away tripods, but hey, free is free, right? It's a cool little device that I can't see using a lot, but if I ever decide to do not shots with my iPhone, I've got something to do it.
