People will do anything these days to get on YouTube. The mantis I found the other day got a bit annoyed by all the attention I was paying her so I just left her alone. Why do idiots seem to think that animals just exist for their enjoyment? Perhaps if they spent a bit more time behind a camera instead of a phone they might respect "bugs" a whole lot more.

Most of the kids have not grown up alongside wildlife,my father used to take me for a 4 hour walk nearly every Sunday passing on his knowledge of nature,

I've always been fascinated by wildlife but it's only since I've had the D3100 that I've been able to become part of their universe and respect them. Perhaps some of our tax money should go into equipping schools with cameras and macro lenses and then we might have a truly environmentally friendly society.
