I stumbled into this video on Wisconsin Public Television about 2012, and never was able to find it again. Until today that is, looks like it was uploaded 6 months ago.

I have to admit that I had never heard of Art Sinsabaugh before that, and discovering his large-format photos of places I am a little familiar with just has been an inspiration to me ever since. When you see my wide-angle photos or often my stitched panoramas, I really am channeling my inner Sinsabaugh.

I really wanted a large format camera back in my film days. I could afford the camera and lens, I couldn't afford that and a large format enlarger, so I made do with 35mm and 2 1/4.

And he did it with a bad heart. With the urgency of someone who felt like he was on borrowed time.
