Ck helicon focus...zerene focus..and star stax for mac
StarStax doesn't support raw. Helicon Focus doesn't appear to support the D3100 (at least, Helicon Remote doesn't - no flipping SDK available - so I assume Focus doesn't either, or won't perform to its full potential). Downloading 30 day trial of Zerene Stacker. Thank you.

Not sure the lovely Keith's products give me what I think I need. Sometimes I just like the simplicity of purely commercial products.

sorry johnathan i googled ur long/lat and then astronomy and don't quickly see any groups.there is a local group here but i work nights and cant seem to get together with them.but i have found some locals that are into the same things and we try to get together when we can.it is much more fun as a group.i found them by going to the website for the closest astronomy group and making a post that im looking for others in my area.i would suggest you give that a shot.
