I was reading some of the old posts around here, and came across a post from hark, regarding the Aeroplane Mode.
For some reason Nikon has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi function ON by default.. And the Aeroplane Mode has to be set to ON for these function to be OFF... I thought that it was like in my phone where the Aeroplane mode only turns off the network coverage and Wi-Fi, but not the Bluetooth...
If it is anything like in my phone, having those two off, will save quite a bit of battery...
So thank you, @hark, for pointing out this little piece of information. It is also available in the manual (page 228)... In a week or two (I'm reading the manual as fast as I can), I would have probably got there and not even notice it...
So much to learn, so little time...
