A very clever idea! It does have a certain ethereal quality about it

I like the soft focus/blurred background as it works with the theme. A bit more blue instead of bright white would have made the angel stand out more. Just my opinion but just a wee bit too much vignetting overall and especially in the top right corner. Also I think it would work better without the green (tree tops) at the bottom but you may not have had any control over that at the time.

Only thing I would change is the vignetting a little too much especially top left. I like the green trees there. It adds a little more interest and helps give the angle perspective without being intrusive.

I also like the green trees in the shot . . . "grounds" the angel a little. Like Joseph said, "perspective without being intrusive". You may want to "feather" the vignette a little bit more so it's a more gradual shift in shades of blue (which is beautiful!). I think your exposure and composition are excellent. Very nice, jdeg!

Not a critique, but just for kicks - it would be cool to see the strings removed! That would add an angelic feature.
