An old Tree continues to grow despite Mankinds andvancements all around.

I drive by this tree nearly everyday, and every time I find myself wanting to capture it. So, I finally made that happen.

Camera: Nikon D800
Lens: Nikkor 16-35mm f/4g
Location: Lehi Utah (20 miles south of Salt Lake)

That's a really nice image. I can't say I'm in love with it's placement in the dead center of the frame and might have shifted it one way or the other but I like the look and feel the lone tree silhouette in front of the sun. And the bold, vibrant colors suit the composition nicely. If you have a copy of Photoshop, I would suggest you go in and remove all the distractions, like the sun reflecting off the window to the viewers left and the sign on the right. Other than that, I really like it.

Beautiful. I like the sun behind the tree, which I'm guessing you did to help save the details in the foreground. I'll agree with Dave though, I find the light off the semi on the right competing with the tree for my attention.
