Alan, you've got lots of great shots here

Thanks for the kind words. It was a bad day for photos as it was overcast and very hazy as you can see in some of the shots. But if you want fresh snowfall shots around here you have to deal with bad lighting.

A foggy day at a frozen lake. Not a Tundra Swan or Canadian Goose to be seen but I could hear some of them. I think they were feeding in the fields that are closed off to the public from Nov to March.

Another frozen lake at the Wildlife Management Area. Again no waterfowl. But if you look real close in the upper center you will see a V shaped tree. On the top right of that tree I believe is a Northern Harrier. This is the same spot I got a shot of him flying away from me last week. Hard to get a shot of him because of the fog. Should post that one in the "almost" thread.

If you look really really hard you will see a really really really tiny tree (see arrow below). That is where he was. The second shot is at full zoom and cropped 50%. I only knew he was there because I heard him calling and finally spotted him moving a little bit. I would never see it if I didn't know it was there.

Another Gray, Cold, stay in the house and hibernate day. So I decided to take a look back to last spring...something to look forward to.

Need some Air traffic Control. Was not even planning on taking this shot. Was just watching the Vulture fly away from me when I heard the Geese coming. Did a quick point and shoot (not a prize wining shot) when I realized they were all going to the same place at the same time. The FAA ( Feathered Aviation Administration) is doing a near miss report.
