I can't believe he's still up there!!

Just found this on the Audubon site.
Range

Breeds locally from coastal Alaska, south-central Canada, and Nova Scotia south to Mexico and West Indies. Winters as far north as southern Alaska, central United States, and southern New England. Also in Galapagos Islands.
I was thinking the same thing. They normally migrate south in the early fall.

I was thinking the same thing. They normally migrate south in the early fall.

I was surprised when I spotted the first one and then when I saw the second about 100 yards further down the path I was really amazed. I don't know if they will leave now but they usually start to come back in March. Probably will not make it back to this lake for a couple of weeks. It's a long walk and with the snow (no shoveling there) and cold (single digits) I will most likely wuss out.

While watering the plants today I noticed that some critters had started an invasion. So I got out my bottle of "Weapons of Mass Destruction" and have beaten back the invasion.

Very nice collages. What software did you use to produce them?

Thanks Don. I did them online using Pixlr.com Express. My daughter told me about it (she uses it for the class she teaches) and I figured today was a good day to play with it. It has a lot of features beside collages and the price is right. (free)
