Magnificent Alan...who needs a DSLR when you are a great photographer? :)

Thanks for the kind words Jeff. I actually have two camera bags full of 35 mm and 220 cameras, lenses and filters. I just got tired of dragging it everywhere I went. I will admit I have borrowed my daughters D80 from time to time, but then I think she has my C330 right now.

Further proof that if you can use a film camera well then you are likely going to be very decent with digital too. :)

What do you have 35mm wise sir?

Canon AT-1, Canon AE-1 both with 55mm, also have 28mm, 35mm, 70-205mm and a 500mm mirror, 2x and 3x extenders, a couple dozen Cokin filters, extension tubes and some close up screw on filters. There is also a Gossen light meter and a couple Sunpak flashes.

Dang how did you end up with a Nikon? :) I have a F-1 with a 35 I think in EX+

Gossen light meters are great. Have both the old mercury Luna Pro and the 9V Luna Pro SBC which is the greatest lowlight meter EVAH. LOL

Family weekend. Our Grandson decided he would water all the planters on the deck.

Had an illegal tenant take up residency above the deck today. His trial was speedy and justice was carried out swiftly. He will not be taking up residency anywhere else. Don't mess with the old man. ( Can you say Judge, Jury and Executioner? )

Yellow Jackets are actually wasps and have a very mean disposition. When I was about 8 I stepped on one of their in-ground nests (just a hole in the ground from what you could see) and I was immediately swarmed by tons of the ornery bastids. I ran home screaming, with them biting and stinging me the entire way home. Unlike honey bees, whose stingers are barbed and who die when they try to pull them out of you because they disembowel themselves, yellow jacket stingers are smooth so they can sting you repeatedly. They also like to bite you. My Mom put me in the bath tub with a ton of baking soda and covered me in calamine lotion. From that day on I have had an full blown hate on for them and stomp them into goo every time I see them. Once when I came upon an in-ground nest I poured gasoline into it and lit it. I never knew yellowjackets could fly when they are on fire, though they did not fly for long!

Had not planned on going anywhere today but our son, who was going to visit, was called in to work. Can't complain, he keeps Life Flight Helicopters flying which is more important than a burger on the grill with us. Anyway, we took a quick trip to Hershey Rose Garden as the roses are just starting to bloom.

Indiantown Gap National Cemetery - I was driving by on the way to meet a client tonight and even with the rain I had to stop to get a couple of pictures. These flags are placed to represent the 7000+ man and women who have paid the ultimate price since 9/11. The flags go on beyond where you can see in the picture.

That's cool, I am sure the boy in me could stare at it for hours waiting for it fall off.

It can get addictive. The water fluctuates so the ball goes up and down but never falls out. it just keeps spinning.

I am trying to remember where I saw this, but it's a very large granite/marble ball hat floated on water. You could actually walk up and push it and it wold spin, not real fast, but very cool. I like stuff like this.
