I had seen a grackle go in there last month and figured that they were taking up residency. When this guy stuck out his head as I was walking by today I couldn't resist taking the shot.

I like dead trees, too. They have interesting shapes and patterns. I thought I was alone in the fascination of dead trees.

Went to the Garden Center today to feed one of my other hobbies and pick up a few things. These will be planted in pots on our deck which becomes our garden every summer.

garden centers are as bad a "nas" the more you see the more you like. When i eat that first big red ripe tomato, it's all worth it.
