Even Photographers are represented at the PA Railroad Museum. I took over 200 shots there yesterday so I hope I don't bore too many with all the postings I figure I will do as I sort through these.

Here's a view of a Steam Locomotive you don't get very often. They have a pit in the museum you can go in to get a look at the underside. Hope these museum shot have not bored you yet  Most likely there will be a few more.

This is the Wrightsville-Columbia Bridge over the Susquehanna River. At 6657 feet it is considered the world’s longest concrete multiple-arch bridge. It was constructed in 1929 and opened in 1930. The pillars in front of the bridge that are covered with trees and other vegetation is what remains of a covered bridge. That bridge was burned 150 years ago during the South's invasion of Pennsylvania.

Thanks Pat. History is one of the other things I like to do. This year they actually built bonfires on those pillars to mark the 150th. I just was not able to make but there would have been some great photos as they did it after dark.

Sadly the end of an era. There was a new chocolate plant opened on the other side of Hershey last year. Now they are tearing down the plant that has been in downtown Hershey since the beginning.
