That and you can't beat some effort to get a brand spanking new body, which is like a free ~$700 refresh of the camera you've already had and used plenty.

If you want to speak to the manager tell the switchboard/receptionist/goalkeeper/assistant to put you through immediately because you are sure he would want to know your husband is sleeping with your wife.
They don't usually want to be the ones held responsible for withholding that sort of request. :D

You are quite welcome. Good luck--the issue CAN be resolved as I am one of a few here who went through the process and was resolved to my satisfaction. It took time...and patience. I found being professional and not losing my cool really helped. Plus I developed a whole new appreciation for my D90 which has been and still is a stellar camera!

YES! the D90 is a sleeper camera which is often underestimated. But in reality, it is a splendid performer. It gives you excellent files with great colors and resolution. I still regret selling mine but had no choice since my two hands could not handle 4 different bodies. :)

I have again submitted images to Nikon. I was told my case would be referred to and executive manager for refund consideration. We'll see.

Keoki, did Nikon say what model they'd replace it with? I was just on their web site where they still offer a new D600 available for purchase although it is priced higher than a D610. In any case, congratulations! :)

They didn't say, but I sent a copy of their post stating they were replacing D600's with multiple repairs with D610's along with a firm letter stating that I expected a replacement for a D610 so we'll see what I get. Actually I would be happy with another D600 if it didn't have the issues mine had. I would be pissed though if they sent me another D600 with the same issues and I had to start the whole process over again.
