Adorama "Bad experience"

Re: Adorama "Bad experiance"

I'd really just wanted to talk to someone about the lens, to get some advice about the problem and find out if there was a work-around or should I send it for VIP warranty repair, which is not an Adorama service. The extended warranty stuff is administered by another company that gets the service done elsewhere. I've yet to get through to anyone in New York. Before, whenever I've called customer service, I got someone I knew was from New York, someone who knew cameras. Now, not so much...

One thing though, Adorama no longer offers that VIP warranty program. I wonder what happened?

If you would like to email me: [email protected], I will have the right person contact you with the information you need.

We don't offer the VIP warranty program any longer because (at $7.95/ year to cover ALL goods purchased within the 12-month period), it wasn't economical for us to continue; however, all existing policies are being honored

@HelenOster - very impressive that you guys got in the loop of this thread..
though adorama as a brand was well protected by the folks here..

off topic, wondering if adorama has any plans of having some kind of outlet or some options for international customers (of course, am atm talking only about India)
or maybe even some kind of program that would save on shipping charges?
Tbh, Adorama's shipping costs are the highest in comparison to B&H and Amazon (who already are ridiculously high)
i understand shipping charges maybe beyond your control... just trying my luck to see if there's anything positive in the horizon for us
