Very sad news, indeed. My prayers for peace for his family.

Didn't know him, even on this forum but it's always sad to see something like this happen to a fellow Nikonite.

Today I discovered that our friend @Sambr , Sam Bruno, has passed. We were all privileged to get to know him here and see his beautiful work. His love of nature and wildlife was apparent in his photos, some of which you can view here: Sambr

It was Sam's wish that his photos on the site be taken down because his wife will be putting together a book of his work. I intend to honor his wish, but also would like to put up a link in its place to where people can donate to have the book made, and eventually purchase it. I will be contacting his family to run this idea by them.

He will be greatly missed. RIP Sam.

Just read this and am in shock, he was a great man. RIP mate.
