A very hard time for my family

Not the news I was hoping for, but still running with the plus side that you still get to be there and see her thanks to the gloves! We're still keeping you and your love in our thoughts and prayers, so keep your head up and you'll turn this corner too!

Thank you buddy. :) my beloved is getting the meds she needs now, so this latest issue should be better in a couple weeks. My beloved and I are a touchy kissy couple, so it's just really hard not being able to for two weeks. But we'll get thought it. :)

Bill, I am so sorry. I wish and hope that everything will be better soon.

Since I was very unhappy with the last shot I redid it using my Nikkor AF 105mm f/2.8D lens! I hope you all will like it better too! :D

I don't know if I like it better but what I love is that you are shooting photos and post them as well. That is what I wanna see from you - Photos. That shows that you are not a gear collector and changer but a photographer who uses what he has got. Thanks Bill for showing Photos. Sent you a big hug share it with your beloved wife.

The first shot lacked focus, due to partly the lens I think, but mostly it wasn't good timing because I had hand trembles. :)
I admit I do tend to collect gear(but that makes me happy too), but not just to collect. I'm looking. I'm looking for what feels right to me, to what works well for me that is inexpensive. It's a trial and error way to go, but it can be fun. :)

Thank you buddy! I'll try to take more when my beloved comes home and I'm not worrying so much all the time. I spend a lot of time close to the phone, in case the doctor calls, or my beloved calls. I'm scared I might miss a call, so unless I'm off to visit my beloved, I don't go outside at all.

Maybe I'll try to take some shots inside the house, within the next few days. But today I hurt too much. The weather must be changing. I have fibromialga, or at least something like it. 2 doctors have said so, though I haven't had the money to go to a specialist to be tested to know exactly what it is.
But for you buddy, I'm going to make an effort to post something in the way of photos. They might not be very interesting, but I try really hard to get some decent shots for you! :D

PS. I'll share that hug with my beloved for sure as soon as we are able to touch each other again. In about two weeks, she shouldn't be contagious anymore. :D

Thank you buddy! That means a lot to my beloved and I! :D

Which one I or we like isn't important, Bill! What's important is that (as siamthai1 said) you're shooting. That can be great therapy, even when you don't get fantastic results: just the act of shooting and all it involves can free your head long enough to get some "relief for what ails ya." And reviewing your shots then planning how to improve them can extend that relief for as long as you choose to continue. I think your beloved would be proud to know you're handling things so well.

Now.... shooting stuff inside the house could add another challenge in itself. Especially if you work at finding interesting shots lurking in the everyday stuff you see all the time. It's amazing how blind we can become when things are familiar.

We'll keep praying for you and your love. Maybe "this photography thing" is good for you after all! :D

BTW... I prefer the second shot with the closer perspective from the 105. And as Tom says, it's a gorgeous spot!

After hearing the feedback on my last photo, I looked at it again to see what you all were seeing. Then I realized I got better focus and sharpness, but screwed up the color, so it looked foggy or washed out. I'm still not the best at post processing. But I did a little quick touching up and I hope this version looks better to you all my friends! :)

I just got an estimate on how long it might be before my beloved will be able to come home to me, and it made me sick to my stomach. Worse yet if my love is starting to hate being there, and wants to come home so much.
I was told that my beloved might be there until the first week in October......................
