Bill, I am so sorry. I wish and hope that everything will be better soon.
Since I was very unhappy with the last shot I redid it using my Nikkor AF 105mm f/2.8D lens! I hope you all will like it better too!

I don't know if I like it better but what I love is that you are shooting photos and post them as well. That is what I wanna see from you - Photos. That shows that you are not a gear collector and changer but a photographer who uses what he has got. Thanks Bill for showing Photos. Sent you a big hug share it with your beloved wife.

I think I prefer the 1st one... but either way, that's a beautiful location!
Still crossed fingers for your wife xx
Which one I or we like isn't important, Bill! What's important is that (as siamthai1 said) you're shooting. That can be great therapy, even when you don't get fantastic results: just the act of shooting and all it involves can free your head long enough to get some "relief for what ails ya." And reviewing your shots then planning how to improve them can extend that relief for as long as you choose to continue. I think your beloved would be proud to know you're handling things so well.
Now.... shooting stuff inside the house could add another challenge in itself. Especially if you work at finding interesting shots lurking in the everyday stuff you see all the time. It's amazing how blind we can become when things are familiar.
We'll keep praying for you and your love. Maybe "this photography thing" is good for you after all!
BTW... I prefer the second shot with the closer perspective from the 105. And as Tom says, it's a gorgeous spot!
