A Small Survey - Just for fun!

I love the feel, style and interchangeable lenses offered by my DSLR bodies. If I don't want to risk the D7100, I have the more easily replaced D3100 as a backup, and as the 18-55 and 50 1.8g prime are low profile, it's not a big deal to me. Otherwise, I have my iPhone 6+ for casual shots.

If I did buy a compact, for any reason, it would be a waterproof body, like the AW series, or a GoPro. (actually considering this before my next Florida trip)

Ye are silly. Point and shoots are great. I'm a bicyclist and a motorcyclist and while yes, I do lug my D750 in my backpack sometimes when I'm riding with the intent of capturing landscape photos. When I'm riding for 3 or more hours the last thing I want on me is 3lbs or more of DSLR and glass weighing me down. Give me a 1" sensor and let me call it a day.

Also I don't own a Macro lens so that 24-85 seems nice.

I would be interested in these cameras, but already have a Sony RX-100, which is great. I also have the Nikon AW120 weatherproof camera, so all my bases are already covered.

The small Sony is great for trips when I don't take the DSLRs.
