52 photos

Well, if, for instance, a person wanted to work on their use of flash, their 52 could be all related to using flashing in different ways for different subjects. I suppose a simple 52 could even be "My 52 Wonderful Flash Photographs"

Oh yes, now I understand Something like that would be even tougher I would assume... I mean its relatively easy to shoot 52 publishable photos in a year, harder to do one each week, harder still to do it from a list, and then to add something like a flash or macro to a prescribed list would make it even harder! But its very interesting to consider doing that... its something I hadnt thought of... thanks!

I'd do it Tracey. I have told myself that there is NO WAY I will be doing a 365 next year but a 52? Yeah....reckon I could do that

Sounds like a great idea. Thought about doing the 365 but I don't think I can commit to that. 52 is more reasonable, at least for me. Having a list of themes sounds good too although like you have already said, it makes it a bit tougher.

I'm curious how many members would plan their own 52, and how many would like to participate using a list that other members are working on at the same time?

Personally I am happy either way. There are plusses for both ways of doing this. Firstly, if most of us work off the same "list", then its good to see what others can come up with to push each theme... but the plus of people doing their own is that people can be creative with the overall theme (like flash photography) you mentioned in an earlier post
