@siamthai1 If you want to change the parameters for yourself, they said you can. You can shoot your themes in any order, not necessarily your listed order. In other words your list is say Birds, Old, Dirty, Portrait... You can shoot Old first, Portrait next... Fill your themes as they are presented in your daily/weekly opportunities are presented. I believe it was also stated that "fudging" on your weeks ie two themes in one week and none the following week will be acceptable.

Saying all of this, I will probably sit this one out because I am just a hack now and have problems finding that right composition on a regular basis. Ha! I try to get into the weekly contest/challenges, but have trouble doing that also.

If I am wrong in what I have stated, I'm sure it will be corrected.

Reminder for all interested in doing a 52 for 2015 to get your list together and posted before January 1.

No need to wait till the last minute to start your threads and you can edit your list and parameters up to the start date of January 1 and some things can be edited after Jan 1.

You can even start your thread without definitive guidelines just to make it known you are in the hunt for 52 in 2015, then edit in your guidelines and add a second post with your list of 52.

I'm thinking of setting up a second 52 with a more technical oriented list. Two 52's is only 104 and still less than 1/3 of a 365.

I need to take a look at this.

When my 365 is over I will be very happy but also a bit lost.
I was hoping that by now I would have found a particular interest and to be honest I am still searching.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if you knew what you loved above all else and could go out and shoot it as your desire took you?

I am just not 100% sure I want to commit to another year of challenges.

Righto off to page 1 to read the guidelines for this.

I really need to get my backside in gear for this! Too much personal stuff happening in my life at the moment, spending too many days at the hospitals. I NEED to take photos to calm/relax myself. I suspect I will be doing the nikonites list and the challenge in its simplist form (52 photos over the year, not neccessarily taken and posted each week)

I'm in!

I was just talking to the wife over the weekend about wanting to do a 52 photo project in 2015 to keep some regular thinking going into my photography. I'll use the sample list at the beginning of this thread, in any order, and go from there.

Thanks for posting this!

I don't see why that wouldn't work. You can create any list you want to use.

List could be as simple as bird 1, bird 2, bird 3, which really wouldn't need to be listed ahead.

List could be more specific and have a bit more of a challenge by making a list of 52 species.

List could also be of specific types of shots like, in the nest, on the wing, 2 birds with one rock (shot), etc.

Me too. Struggling to get thru the 365. Not sure I want to commit but thinking maybe I will coz it's easy to drop out but if you don't start it then you have no way to get in.

Nothing to stop you committing to a 52, but use "your" guidelines to state that you will post 4 or 5 a month(then for the first 3 weeks of January, take a short break... or maybe just leave it open as long as you have your 52 chosen themes at the end of the year. Lots of ways you can do this without being to regimented.

Let me understand this.
I make a list of 52 types of shots.
I can shoot them in any order.
I can shoot any number of shots on any day or week.
I can post multiple shots of different themes .
I can complete my 52 in under 52 weeks.

. Ok I'm in.

Is everyone able to edit the post after a while? I have my list on the Computer and can check it so I know what is for the coming week to do?

I dragged this question over from my 52 thread.

I will probably update my list in Post #2 of my thread, but I'd say keep track whichever way is easiest for you to do. Main thing is you know where you are.

Was this what you were asking Michael?

My question means if I use your form can I edit it every time. Cos I don't know I can edit after 6 month my posting.

But I will do it in my way I think. I use my list on the computer. Thank you so much for your time answering my posting. And I apriciate it very much as I got the answer I needed.

Looks like we have about 5 days left for anyone who wants to participate in 52 for 2015 and start the first week. Especially important if they plan to strictly post one per week.

Eyelight, Where do we set up our 52 in 2015 threads? I think that there should be a separate place on the Forum for the 52 in 2015 threads.
