I knew Hassie's were expensive, even for MF, but holy cow... $27.5K?!!Still a joke though at that price.
Hassie's shut down if you take them outside; it's part of their patented "StudioSenz Technology".Didn't read the shutter speed part. So I guess this camera is out for BIF shots.![]()

All kidding aside, I have the greatest respect for Hassie's... I've never handled one that wasn't a Studio Queen but their reputation absolutely precedes them.In all honesty they made there name at a time when the engineering on them was way ahead of most cameras,i had a 500CM and 500ELM,my wife did weddings on the CM and i did birds, flowers ect on the ELM,they where a joy to use.

I wonder what the photos would look like as compared to the FX Nikons. If you were doing gigantic prints I could see the benefit but just how big would you have to go to see the difference if it and say the D810?
I used to shoot with a Mamiya 645 and you could see the difference in it vs the 35mm but I am just not to sure about the difference a medium format digital would make in a normal size world.
I think most users would be better off with digital if for no other reason than the weak link would be the scanning, now if we still had Cibachrome that may change the results![]()
You'll take two, then?I knew Hassie's were expensive, even for MF, but holy cow... $27.5K?!!
Thank gawd the shutter speed maxes out at 1/800 because with a continuous rate of 1.5 frames per second... I... I...
*scratches head*

Not at all. It's just for really slow birds.Didn't read the shutter speed part. So I guess this camera is out for BIF shots.![]()
