3x flash setup

Hello, i would like to use a 3 flash setup for weddings. My expectation is to use SB700 on camera as a fill flash and 2x cheap manual kickers from behind. I know that i can fire the manuals with the strobe itself, however my question is: is there any way how to adjust the powers of the manuals remotely from camera or master flash SB700? Without purchasing expensive transceivers...

Thanks

Yongnuo transceivers are not expensive, but will do what you're asking for.

Outside of that, You would need to use CLS capable lights all around, and then you could control the CLS groups from the camera.

I believe (but haven't tested) that you could use the YN622N on the camera hotshoe with a speed light attached to it. The YN622TX would connect to the camera via sync port instead of hotshoe. I *think* you could still control the flash settings from the 622TX without it actually being on the hotshoe in that configuration.

Yeah, but he's a Canon guy ... at least until he purchases that D7000.

he may be a canon guy but he got me sorted out with 2 x yongnuo RN560 IVs and a 560 TX which work absolutely perfectly. My third flash is out of Noah's ark and to fire that I simply mount it on a 603 trigger with one on the camera aswell.

So this final set-up would be D7100 with the 603 trigger in hot shoe, the RN 560Tx mounted on trigger and Noah's flash on an additional 603.
The settings for the yongnuos are all controlled by the 560TX straight from camera and I can control any number of Yongnuo flashes that way.

Unfortunately Noah's one has to be set manually - but I do that once and leave it; as I only ever use it for a back light.

The 603s also allow me to trigger everything remotely by up to 150 meters - or is that yards? It may as well be miles because it is heaps!!

I have a 3x YN622N setup. I run 1x TX unit and 3x transceivers. I use one transceiver in the hotshoe with a flash mounted to it if I need on camera flash as well and put the TX unit in my shirt pocket. It doesn't need to be in a hotshoe to control your flashes.

I use pocketwizards that can do all that, but Yongnuos are definitely cheaper. No way to turn the flashes off with pocketwizards, but with the TX on the hotshoe, the flashes sleep when I turn my camera off IIRC...
