3rd party battery grips for d500

I have a Meike battery grip. Came with two trays. One for a Nikon batter and one holds AA batteries. I bought Panasonic rechargeable AA battery kit at Costco. I like it. Fits well and works but heavy when using the 200-500 lens. I don't use it a lot. I have three of the EN-EL15 batteries and keep them with me if I need it. I try to keep the camera in Airplane mode for the most part but if I was to use the Bluetooth option to transfer photos to my phone I would need those batteries or the grip. I have not tried the EN-EL18 battery with the D500.

I think for the most part all the China batteries grips are made at the same place and just use different labels. They all seem to be the same.

I got a D800 with MB-D12 a few weeks ago (very much used second hand at 450 EUR) and bought a Patona EN-EL18 copy + charger and an Ex-Pro BL-5 (iso an extra spare EN-EL15).

Now I wanted to exchange batteries easily with my D500 without breaking the bank.
I ended up buying a Neewer grip (under 40 EUR without transport) with twice Patona EN-EL18 copy (75 EUR for both special offer) + Ex-Pro BL-5 (about 35 EUR for 2 delivered).

My goal is mainly to assure battery performance on long nature walks or stake out trips in cold weather.

Still charging the last battery, but it all fits, the battery status looks correct in the D500 and the focus and shots work.
No opinion on performance, but I'm not the one that has most issues with this in my way of working.

P.S.: Also recently bought a Sony A7R with official grip, have some issues with 3rd party batteries which that came with that.
