A few more shots just experimenting with the lens. Started with very little light and lost that quickly.

Probably the last time I'll be able to use this rose as a test subject.

EDIT: Is it just my screen or did that photo upload really bright red??

It is your screen. The color looks pretty good here but does have a magenta cast.

That's pretty weird because the image looks normal on my my screen before upload and on tumblr. As soon as it uploaded here all of a sudden I see it as bright red. I can't explain the magenta you see either.

Strange! The cast I see is not objectionable, just slightly magneta with a soft faded look typical of an older blossom.

hmmm... Maybe you see the image the way I posted it. As long as it's not the way I see it then it's fine haha

I have several thousand shots with mine and love it. I took it to Disney last year and danced around with my feet the whole time, but I got some phenomenal shots. Between this and the 50mm is all I really use now.

haha yeah I'm considering selling my 18-55 and 55-200 and using the 35mm. I'll have to get a 70-300 for those rare wildlife shots though.
