I was going to write that as far as I know, any lens that will work on a D3200 should work at least as well on a D7000. But then I realized something that might refute that.
Although Nikon claims that non-AI lenses cannot be used on any DSLR except for their Df model, I have three non-AI lenses that I use all the time on my D3200, and they work just fine, albeit with exactly the limitations that you would expect, given that they predate any form of autofocus, and they do not have any means to communicate their aperture setting nor any other data to the D3200.
But I understand that there are some DSLRs, and even more modern film SLRs, that can be damaged by attempting to use a non-AI lens on them. Might the D7000 be among those that is thus vulnerable?
