3 days to go....

Well with 3 days to go before I depart for Africa I thought I might post here quickly and say my farewells for now. I have a lot to do over the following days and doubt I will get the time to browse the internet or pop on here.
While I am in Africa I will not have access to the internet for the duration of my stay (2 months), this is partly due to the remote nature of my travel and it is also something I personally want to do. As the way I see it a break from technology as far as the internet goes will not hurt me and it may even make my trip better, I will still of course be sending out GPS updates (daily) which I think go to my SPOT site and map if not they do go to my facebook account. I also will be using a laptop for storage and transferring photos etc. When I get back I will then update my blog with my accounts over there, I will be keeping a daily leather bound hand written journal which I will use to fuel my blog.

I will also put some photos up here, I will most likely create an Africa album to put them in. Fingers crossed I get a good photo or even two.

Anyway have a great 2 months I will be back mid May, I hope everyone stays well and that you all keep producing the wonderful photos while I am away. I guess I will have a lot of catching up to do in regards to the posts that I miss take care...

Have to agree and laugh at the same time with all the tech equipment you are taking.
