yikes those are some ugly images! i really need to get a back up body! lol! anyways here was the first image i snapped with the lens.. the lens was delivered the day we found out the gender so it was a perfect opportunity to take the "reveal" pics for our family

How is the lens hand holding wise, or did you use a tripod for that shot. I find from using mine yesterday that I was a little shaky

Congratulations for the girl coming and the new lens. Both will go well together. Best of both is what I wish for you. Parenting is quite an experience, and it never ends… might as well get all the lenses you can now before the real spending starts. :)

This image was taken hand held close to the minimum focus distance and it performed well... I took a lot at this distance, this composition was the one my wife liked more... No issues at all hand held on my end...

Thanks!!! I'm looking forward to our little girl... Unfortunately my glass fund just turned into the boyfriend deterrent/ mossberg fund! Lol! One more to complete the trinity and ill be happy with the glass for a long time!
