Can't imagine needing that. I barely make a dent in 64GB cards, less so with my 128's. Guess for people doing a lot of video (especially the Canon 5d4 and that 4k codec) or medium format shooters? But just because I personally don't need it at the moment doesn't mean I'm against it. I'm all for progress!

I have to agree. There are some video cameras out there that it might be useful for. Video only, not DSLRs that shoot video.
