“The Wall “

This is a shot that caught my eye. It was about 30 min before sunset, and the light was creeping in this ally and on “The Wall” ….Does it work?

Nice shot and I think you captured it well. Might want to try and tone down the highlight in the sky. Maybe crop out some of the bottom and left side.

I do like this photo and believe it has possibilities. Rick's suggestions about cropping and toning down the sky is perfect. also, this is a perfect scenario for HDR. . . even 3 bracketed shots would have helped to bring some detail back to the shadows. As it is, I would definitely crop out the darkest areas on the bottom and left so that the eye is drawn to the "traveling" shadow on the wall.

Keep up the good work!

The idea is perfect, the shot is good.

Somewhere I miss something, always difficult to find though, .. a splash of colour, the shade covering a bit of "The wall".
I guess that makes a picture perfect, lots of patience to get the light just right and adding some elements creatively (e.g. asking someone to park their car there).
