Took this lens out today and paired it with my D90. Through the viewfinder everything looks good if you focus manually. Press the shutter and nothing, refuses to take what's framed. Put same lens on my D600, no problem. The lens is not assigned as a non CPU lens on either body. Ani ideas

I have just purchased the above lens. It appears to have no tripod mount. Has someone lost it in this example? Can't really work out the differences between the three generations. Can someone enlighten me further.....

Got myself a D90 with MB80 grip. Charged both batteries and installed in grip. Left overnight. If I go to battery info the left hand battery is 80% and battery age 0 (new). The battery in the left slot is 100% and age 0 but has an exclamation mark over the battery icon. Just dirty terminals...

Why is it that my EXIF data is sometimes there and sometimes appears as NA? Posted a photo yesterday and the only PP i did was a tiny crop to remove something in the foreground. It shows as NA. Is it because of this cropping?

There are lots of members out there that have wonderful cursive (handwritten style) watermarks with copyright info. I have only found one cursive font within LR5 so wondered how you get those fonts you use?

Was outside cleaning some lenses and noticed a butterfly fluttering around my rosemary. Fitted the lens (AFS 70-300 VR) and snapped this. Not pixel perfect (massively cropped) but I kind of like the blur.:)˙

Shot three or four shots today and camera is set up to record the same exposure as a JPEG and RAW. Why are the exposures more "correct" with the JPEG's than the RAW's? Can't work out how to increase the time Review allows you if you want to examine a shot in detail. If you don't press the magnifying button and navigate quickly enough it turns off and you have to do it again even quicker. Difficult!!! Is there a setting to adjust?

Went to watch my horse in work a while earlier in the month. The objective for me was to capture her in full stride with all her feet off the ground. Mission accomplished!!! Really good detail of her harness, buckles, etc
