I got my D750 last week and wondering if I am doing something wrong? When taking portraits with it for example, the photos are soft and lacking detail eg no detail in eyebrows, eyes not sharp, even though they are bang on the point of focus. This is with both the 24-70 and 24-120 lenses both...

I'm interested in the answer to that question too. I have looked at lots of photos and the ones taken with the D750 seem to have a clarity and a look that isn't there with the D500

Not a choice between the two as I intend to buy both cameras within the next six months or so. I am aware that the D750 has been on the market for a while now and may be replaced with a new model. Do I go for the D500 now and wait and see what happens with the D750? Your thoughts please?
