We got back from Florida late last might, and I have a lot of pictures to sort through, but I thought I'd post this one today. Unfortunately this big gator never got out of the water so we could view him fully, but locals told us that he was a huge one, probably around 12 feet.

Lorraine (my primary bird spotter, "life coach", and wife) spotted a flock of Bohemian Waxwings in our neighborhood and I grabbed my camera. As is usual with these birds, I got 3-4 minutes before they all flew away. They LOVE crab apples.
