    It would help if you posted one or two of your pictures with the settings you used. Indoor venues can vary quite a bit in terms of available light. For running horses I would probably want 1/1000 of a second or faster if at all possible. You will probably need to live with some high ISO settings...

    This morning I told this Red-tailed Hawk that it was much too beautiful to be perched on that ugly streetlight. The bird took my advice and flew to another perching spot right away... sigh...
