    Woody's Hermosa Luz 2025

I spent about 90 minutes or so watching this Great Blue Heron hunt yesterday. One of my favorite things to do!

    Woody's Hermosa Luz 2025

Thanks, Robin. No TC, but a lot of time standing or sitting quietly. The ducks move away when I arrive, but slowly get used to me. There are enough people in the area that hey are somewhat used to human presence, too.

    Woody's Hermosa Luz 2025

A group of Bluejays were harassing this Great Horned Owl this morning. The owl has a nest site nearby, so she's not going anywhere no matter how much the Bluejays might wish she would leave.

Anyone getting excited about the Z90?

Where did you see the rumors? Yes, I would be interested if it ever comes to be.

A Crow took this crawdad away from a gull who had stolen it from a Merganser who caught it in the first place. Thievery is very common in the bird world.

    Feedback appreciated

FWIW, I like your "combo" edit. Of course, it matters most what YOU like the best. :)

Where can I get spare-parts ("AF sensor flex") for Nikon D300S

In the US there are independent repair places that can sometimes find the parts and will fix older cameras. Maybe there are similar shops down under? You could look for a used D300S to use for parts, as well, although you might as well use the newly acquired camera in that case. :) Frustrating...

This guy is an old friend, and I was glad to see him near the nest, keeping an eye on things.
