Ferruginous Hawk

It's kind of hard to see what's going on with all the splashing and dashing, but a Ring-billed Gull was trying to steal a fish that this Common Merganser hen had just caught. (She managed to keep the fish and have a nice snack. ) View large and/or zoom in to see better.
