Terry White just blogged about a free utility to convert Aperture libraries to Lightroom catalogs. Seems pretty well thought out. I don't have anyway to test it but wanted to share the info in case anyone is considering going down that path.

Cameta is a great source for refurbished camera gear. (I've personally purchased from them and have been very pleased.) Right now they have a refurbished Nikon 1 V1 with the kit 10-30mm lens available for $319.95.
I'm not sure how long the deal will last, but Adorama is selling the refurbished Nikon 1 32mm f/1.2 for $729.95 - about $170 less than new. Sweet deal.
Wow! As a PA immigrant I can honestly say I wasn't aware of many of these places. Sharing this link because of the awesome images as well as it may give some local folks ideas.
Basic photography. Just you, your camera and a 50mm (or equivalent) lens. Strip it all down and focus on composition and creativity. Zoom with your feet. Break out of your old habits and maybe discover a new point of view!!

One of the real advantages of the pro-bodies (D300, D700, D3, etc.) is that they have the 10-pin connecter in the front. That makes the small bluetooth device pretty unobtrusive.
