Then before I released it onto the palm frond in the last photo I took some more kind of natural shots.

Well I was sitting here with my 150-600 taking photos of birds, and along comes this 'ant' on the dog treats that I had on the table seeing as I dislike ants I am about to shake it off when I see it is different. I then found a palm leaf after taking a few experimental shots on my drink cup.

Here is a photo I took while out camping, I am heading back out there this weekend to try and capture some more interesting shots of this amazing area.

Next up is Zeus... Zeus is a lot harder to photograph due to Tank getting in the way all the time...

After looking at @wud 's photos of her dogs it reminded me how much I have not been taking of my own. So here are a few backyard shots of my boys. First up is Tank, and honestly he is happier than he looks lol

Well I have tried the Tamron out on varying conditions, and on the D800E I have found that the focusing can be a bit hit and miss. For static objects it works good, but through glass and low light it can be sluggish and even not focus at all. I am unsure if this is the camera or lens, but I have...
