Just took my new phantom for its maiden flight (after charging all batteries overnight). And it was good fun and a bit easier to fly than I first originally thought it would be. Here is a shot from the camera, pretty good quality. I am uploading the video now, nothing fancy but just a quick...

So being in the back yard I started posting pics, the rain eased off and I decided to the hell of it lets get out in it.

Then it started getting too close so the back yard called for me.

Nice storm front with beautiful CG lightning.

Then going outside. This was while setting up :)

Well it started with me hearing thunder, and then looking at the radar.

Love this shot. Was a shot that worked out quite well and one that I have waited for.

Well it is not too often I post a photo to its own thread, but this one deserved it. We have an amazing storm pass over and it lasted for ages. So I was able to walk the 50mtrs to my lake and snap this 30 sec exposure....
