Set out across the bridge to find some egrets that I'd seen recently hanging around some flood plain farm fields. Found them .... way out beyond where I could get to them today. Did find a creek overpass that yielded a shocking amount of rather large fish. Wasn't pretty water, so who knows...

A few shots from the small farmers market down by the river. Was pretty quiet today since it was 90+ pretty early.

Took the girls to an art class today at the library. Great way to beat the heat and watch my two little artists.

A very loooong day for a Friday, but at least it was FRIDAY!! Nothing but a bridge shot this evening for today's post.

Nothing today other than a shot of another round of storm clouds heading in to get us wet.

Spent just a couple hours here today. Threatening weather and tired grumpy kids kept the adventure short, but it was still a very cool little spot. We will certainly be returning for a much longer visit.

Took a short trek into Amidon State Park today. Definitely worth returning for a long day's worth of exploration.
