Today is still Macro mode. D700, Sigma 150 Apo-Macro 2.8. These two were fighting in our bird bath. They both gave up and split after a little while.

Flowers of the day.

Zen was the theme of my morning. Small creek that I had to take with the Fuji X-E2 since it can focus with a ND8+polarizer to get the long exposures. And Boudhist Monks doing a Mandala with the Df.

Another stitched photo. 12 different images that didn't overlap enough for photoshop to blend, so I had to do the manual blending of the layers... Not even sure it was worth it, but I wanted to try the experience. Done from jpegs, the original file would make a 36x36 print at 300 dpi.

The birds didn't eat them all, thanks to our cat that's been watching over the blueberries. Wit the morning mist, they are just mouth watering. Out of camera jpeg cropped a bit.

Morning picture. Bronzer (13 images) stitched with PS CC. D700, sigma 105 @ 2.8 manual mode and focus to get same exposure and shallow DoF. The psd file is about 120 MB and could probably be printed 4x6 feet.

To me, flowers are the best subjects for this Oil Paint filter. Applied judiciously, it can produce very nice prints that could be used for decoration or postcard material.
