And replaced it with a new D7100. The D700 will still be my go-to camera for most work but the D7100 gives me better IQ and ISO performance when using my 300mm and 600mm lenses for nature photography. It may also come in handier for macro work.

Although I don't think I will use it much in the TTL mode, a few test shots does peg the exposure pretty close to the mark.
