    New Camera? D800 - D750 - D500

This adventure starts when my NAS-GAS acts up again when I'm in Vistek and see a D3 on offer for $1800 - 'a great deal' says the salesclerk. I begin the adventure of thinking maybe I should get a second FX camera. My primary is a D610 with a D7100 as back up. But a DX back up to an FX ...

Time for a cuppa and sit down with a good book. Bought me two nice books on photography National Geographics Complete Photography ... who wants the incomplete one eh? Lots of eye candy and while the tech is a little dated (printed 2011) even though the principals have not changed much. And...

    Confused about telephoto choice

When out birding there are times I'm glad I have a zoom as sometimes the bird ain't that far away. I'd guess that the majority of the time (80%+) I shoot at the full 500 ,,, or 700 if using the T.C. ... or 1050 if on my D7100 and with the TC, in any case, get the max reach to bring that...

Got me a Gnarly Bag - top loader - alas it is a tight fit for both my D610 or D7100.... Fits but cannot easily get my hand around the grip to pull out. Intent was to pack a camera mounted with wide lens on hip while hiking with my long lens on a strap (or monopod). .... But I hear the D750...

This order was on the 'slow boat from China' They call this the Selens Honeycomb Grid with filters. Basically a heavy rubber band with magnets on each side goes on the flash. Very snug on a X60 (Canadian for Godox V860), it is a bigger flash, much larger than an SB700. But it is on there...
