Day #53 Feb. 22 A 24 shot panorama (Handheld) stitched with MSICE Cropped the first version down to make it a little larger for the forum.

Day #52 Feb. 21 Went back to the "Hawk" nest to check on the owl. I had an idea, but I was about 15 minutes too late to get what I had in mind. This is close, however. This was a shot I shot earlier in the day at a Cancer Survivors Memorial.

Day #51 Feb. 20 This was a "First". Actually a couple of firsts. First time using the new Yongnuo flash for more than just play. First time shooting an indoor sports event. My granddaughter tested for her Black Belt in a Kempo discipline. Some warm up sparring time. Practicing moves...

Day #50 Feb. 19 Trying to get caught up. It has been a busy few days. This shot for the day was a quick shot taken of the "Boneyard" (AMARC) in Tucson.

Day #49 (continued) I have been watching this Hawk nest, waiting for the hawks to return. Today I saw something, but wait... that's not a hawk. When I saw it was an Owl, I had to get a shot or two. The lighting was terrible, but I still had to try to capture the fact that an owl had taken up...

Day #49 Feb. 18 Another day that went to the birds. A couple shots of a Vesper Sparrow (I think) And a House Finch getting a little nourishment from the newly budding Cottonwood trees.

@Blacktop, I can only imagine that GIMP is harder to use than PS because I have never even seen PS (maybe a youtube video or two). I feel that the two programs have similarities ie Layers, Layer Masks, etc. and the switch over from GIMP to PS would be pretty straight forward. I think that PS...

Day #48 (Continued) Red-tailed Hawk

Day #48 Feb. 17 Birds today Sandhill cranes flying Waaaaaaay up there. These two were the closest of to few hundred or so that were flying around my place. Northern Flicker ??? Song Sparrow ???

This is a complete redo of the 3rd PP shot from yesterday. I tried to get the clouds to look away and out of focus giving a more natural look. I may need to go more, but that means starting over again. Ha!
